ELIGIBILITY

STEP 1

STEP 2

Study for Written Test: Study the official Commercial Driver’s Handbook to prepare for the written test. This test covers road signs, rules, and regulations specific to commercial vehicles.

STEP 3

Written Test: Visit a DriveTest center to take the written test. Passing this test is necessary to proceed.

STEP 4

Medical Examination: Undergo a medical examination by a licensed medical practitioner to ensure you are fit to operate commercial vehicles.

STEP 5

Training: Enroll in a Ministry-approved AZ training program. This includes classroom instruction and practical driving experience.

STEP 6

Road Test: After completing your training program, schedule and pass a road test. This evaluates your skills in operating a commercial vehicle safely.

STEP 7

Apply for AZ License: With a successful road test, you can upgrade your G license to an AZ license. Pay the applicable fees.
